So I see that Bilzen lawyers Dan Heller and Glenn Waldman have opened up their own shop:
Dan P. Heller and Glen H. Waldman, both former equity partners at Bilzin Sumberg Baena Price & Axelrod, have founded the firm of Heller Waldman, providing legal services in the areas of estate planning and litigation/arbitration. Heller is board certified in wills, trusts and estates and focuses his practice on estate planning, tax planning, probate administration, guardianship administration, and trust law. Waldman is a litigator and business counselor, handling contested matters in a variety of areas and venues, including, commercial, real estate, construction, probate, insurance coverage, and reinsurance as well as providing business guidance for a variety of entities. Eleanor T. Barnett and Robert S. Beraha, both previously with Bilzin Sumberg, are joining Heller Waldman as partners to assist with the firm's litigation and estate planning practices, respectively.Hmmm. Congrats Dan and Glen. That strikes me as a pretty big loss for the litigation department there, anyone with more news over at Bilzen shoot me an email.
So anything interesting happening in federal court? You file an amazing motion lately, get involved in a Daubert battle, do some sexy e-discovery, anything like that?
Nope, me either.
Well I enjoyed painting on Saturday, but now I'm off to go golf with some Jackson Memorial muckety-mucks for charity or something -- I don't know for sure, other than I am going to go play golf at La Gorce.
Have fun, Jets fans!
